Good diner style lunch place. The crepes are excellent but the cakes are expensive
Good food and especially their lattes! Very friendly and very good service.
Only order coffee or tea to avoid disappointment. We were very excited to visit Bourne for Desserts but sadly, we left feeling very dissatisfied. I realise this is a favourite spot for locals and that the management prides itself on affordability but at what cost? Ordered a waffle (for 5,95) and was surprised and disappointed that it came from a packet and wasnt freshly prepared (Lets be honest, whipping up waffle batter doesnt take too much effort). Milkshakes are also below par and a bit too watery for our tastes. Read other reviews also complaining about frozen pastries and a lack of fresh preparation. Coffee is decent and ice cream also okay, but nothing amazing. All the best for the future, but we wont be returning. I can make better waffles at home.
Could do a lot better. The interior is a strange mix of American Diner furniture, standard Cafe counter and old dining furniture, which is odd. The food alas, was disappointing. A Pain Au Chocolat was small and microwaved so it was both soggy and chewy, and the bacon sandwich was as basic as it gets (why not try some seeded bread). Coffee was pretty ordinary too. Want to support local businesses but for the price, this wasn't a good experience.
A nice friendly independent coffee shop.Had coffee here after yoga. This coffee shop is convenient and the staff are very friendly. Had a very nice cafe americano, with hot milk. Quickly prepared and it was lovely. We will return
