Was surprised to be told "No food" on a recent Saturday at 1pm. Anyone planning to visit might like to phone first.
5 stars is not enough in my opinion about the outstanding experience from start to finish dealing with the guys! I hosted my 40th here and being a milestone it had to be just right! Linda and Gary could not do enough for us! They helped with every request and nothing was ever too much trouble! My family also stayed over in the lovely accommodation and all said they had an amazing experience! The venue was perfect for a special occasion and bar team were always very efficient and friendly. My 40th would not have been as enjoyable without their hard work and support! Would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks guys and well done

Good local.pub. No car park so one needs to park on the opposite side of the green. Good function room and several guest rooms for overnight stay.
Linda, Gary and staff are all very welcoming and can't do enough for the guests. The pub is situated on the green in Wooburn and is convenient for travel into London and the North. Rooms are well maintained and comfortable and situated in a converted stable adjacent to the pub. The food is of high quality and covers a typical pub menu. Breakfast is great for those with a big appetite. A great place to stay for both business and pleasure.
