This is bad, just really bad. From a month to getting an appointment to cancelled appointments, to assigned GP being changed without notification to having useless contact technology...hard to think of a positive. It was only ever "acceptable", but since the reorganisation, it's now far from even that. I understand the cuts, etc. What I don't understand is the seeming lack of interest. Such a shame for the local community. I note also that they have disabled the communication/message option in the PatientAccess online service...guess fearful of what they might get. (Note: none of these comments are a reflection on any of the practitioners, though I think the practice manager probably needs to step up).
All my experiences have been generally good, but have to know how to get best out of system. Got to be patient to get through on phone, but generally staff always try to help and are understanding
One star and thats a push after it took 15 minutes to get through to discuss an up and coming appointment which had been booked over 2 weeks ago to be told the nurse would not do the procedure!!!!Why ask me what the appointment is for so that I DO get booked with the correct doctor then book me with a muppet!!!!!!! Are the receptionist just nosey! So I could wait until the end of November now or go elsewhere - elsewhere sounds more professional to me!!!The doctors merge has been a complete disaster for the Bourne End residents

I had taken 2 consecutive appointments to address 2 different issues. After a 5 minute conversation on all things health related I needed to address and a 5 minute consultation, I was out of time for my second consultation. On top of that, I had asked to be sent into private healthcare for a detailed health check and they refused on the premises that I don't have any symptoms of any kind. Well if you wait until sickness strikes there's not really anything you can do afterwards is there?
